Peeking
out from a field of warm yellow, orange and rich
brown beads is a darling rabbit ojime bead (origin:
recent). She's carved to the minutest detail in
boxwood. Check out the bottoms of her feet! Buckskin
leather ties the rabbit together with wood beads,
vintage glass, Chinese lampworked glass and incised
bone. Sterling silver toggle clasp. The rabbit symbolizes
longevity. Persons born under the year of this Chinese
Lunar animal (1915, 1927,1939, 1951, 1963, 1975,
1987, 1999) are believed to have fine tastes and
be financially lucky.
