This
wonderful image of a Oriental scholar we've named
Confucius is under glass and framed in sterling
silver. The card was probably from a Chinese cigarette
package and was part of a series that was collected.
It is a vintage piece and does show some signs
of wear, but it doesn't detract from its charm
after all these years! Round turquoise pebbles
which only have small inclusions of the blue turquoise
provide the foundation for the piece. Carved jade
beads, labradorite and sterling silver show off
the amazing pendant, and tiny garnets show up
at all the right places. A sterling silver lobster
clasp and silver chain makes this necklace adjustable.
Comes with its own descriptive card and artist's
signature tag.
