Multi-faceted
ocean jasper beads with spectacular natural veins
and striations set the stage for this 1920-1930s
framed card from Wills's Cigarettes Lucky Charms
series. The image on the front is that of "The
Utchat" or Eye of Horus. Green turquoise
beads add just the right impact to this overall
stunning necklace. Perhaps this treasure will
be your lucky talisman and give you much strength!
Artist's note: This necklace was one of those
magically "aligning" designs, as mused
about in the Symbolism section. What was even
more significant to the designer was that after
designing the piece and it was all assembled somewhat
effortlessly, she just happened to read the inscription
on the back and was in awe that she had just created
this piece on the day of the summer solstice!
Comes with its own descriptive card and artist's
signature tag.
